During online Internet searches of the Library of Congress database in Washington D.C., performed on 4-5-2004, this book was originally published prior to 1924 - it is therefore in the public domain and free to be posted in its entirety despite recent publication.

Please note: Below is the Introductory material of the book, however, if you wish to continue reading this fine book [and I truly hope you do!] download the chapter(s) from the document file (which is absolutely free). You will have the option to either simply open it or to save it as your own possession. GOD bless you from the Baptist Bible Believers website!

Please tell all of your friends and Church about this website, pray for this ministry - and that will be payment enough!

The following ten lessons dealing with the "Great Words of the Gospel" were typed from an out-of-print booklet by Harry Ironside Moody Press; 1944.

As a new believer, one of the first thing that you should do is to learn a new vocabulary. In your former life you amassed quite a few words; some nice, some not so nice. Now as a believer, you have a brand new life - so it only stands to reason that you should have some new words to go along with that new life. Many Christians today struggle with security after they are saved. They struggle because they do not understand what they are, what they have in CHRIST. Believer, I can assure you that once you understand these basic building blocks - you will have the tools to not only grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, but you will also have firm ground from which to stare Satan in the face and command him to "Get thee behind me!"

I encourage you now, dear believer, much awaits you as you begin your journey down the road of GOD's righteousness. May GOD be pleased to strengthen you and present you faultless before the presence of His glory on that great day -- because you saw fit to prepare yourself now by going through this most important basic training - to the praise of the glory of His grace!

The addresses now before the reader were delivered in most part on successive Lord's Day mornings at the Moody Memorial Church, Chicago, Illinois. They were intended especially for confirming the faith of young converts, a number having been brought recently to know CHRIST as a result of special revival services.

I trust in this permanent form these message may be used of GOD to help establish others who have recently come to know CHRIST as their Lord AND Saviour, and that even older believers may find some measure of profit if they will take time to read them thoughtfully.
