TABLE OF CONTENTS

Dear boys and girls:

Again and again have come requests for the story of Peter. I sometimes wondered why so many calls for this particular Bible character. But as I studied Peter that I might write about him I was not at all surprised, for his life was filled with thrilling experiences as he traveled those memorable years with the Lord Jesus.

I was amazed as I watched the transformation from the Peter whom Jesus called from the fishing boats of Galilee into the fearless, keen, clear-minded, eloquent Peter who, filled with the Holy Spirit, preached the sermon on the Day of Pentecost which brought three thousand souls to the feet of his Saviour and Lord.

My prayer is that this simple story of Peter may inspire you, young reader, to do as Peter did, give yourself fully to the Lord Jesus Christ to be used of Him for His glory.

Affectionately,

Aunt Hattie
